How to change browser's home page

When you launch a Web browser, it automatically opens a new window with a default home page--usually Google.com or Bing.com--loaded and ready to go. You can set the home page to any website you prefer, however. Here's how to change the home page in Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Opera, Netscape, Safari and Mozilla Firefox.



Note : If you would like the to set Digital Adda as your home page, click the Use Current button.

1. Internet Explorer
  • Open the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.
  • Click Tools Internet explorer tools icon in the upper right-hand corner.
  • Select Internet Options from the dropdown menu.
  • Under the general tab, type the URL of the web page you want to set.
  • Click Apply.
  • Click Ok.

2. Mozilla Firefox
  • Open the Mozilla Firefox browser.
  • Click the Menu Firefox Menu Icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen
  • Select Options from the dropdown menu.
  • Under the General Tab in the Home Page field, type the URL of the web page you want to set.
  • Click Ok.

3. Chrome
  • Open the Chrome browser.
  • Click Menu Chrome Menu Icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  • Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
  • Within Settings, check the box next to Show Home button.
  • Click Change next to the address shown below the Show Home Button.

4. Safari
  • Open the Safari browser.
  • Click Safari in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
  • Select Preferences from the dropdown menu.
  • Under the General tab in the Home page field, type the URL of the web page you want to set.
  • Close the current window.

5. Opera
  • Open the Opera browser.
  • Click the File menu.
  • Select Preferences from the dropdown menu.
  • Select Start with home page and type the URL of the web page you want to set.
  • Click Ok.

6. Netscape
  • Open the Netscape browser.
  • Click the Edit menu and then Preferences.
  • In the Home Page field, type the URL of the web page you want to set.
  • Click Ok.
