When you purchase a fancy, new, highly complex Android phone that can do everything from checking your email to surfing the web. It's shiny and running fast while doing all the things we wanted it to do but after a year the phone shinning tends to wearing off and things aren't as zippy as they used to be. Apps takes longer to open and run. Transitions between screens take longer to redraw that we would like. The device working slow and little frustrating to use.
Don't worry, there are various ways to speed up that Android performance and a few things you can do to make it feel faster.
Trick #1 : Disable Live Wallpaper
You should disable all the live wallpaper to get superior performance. If you choose to use live wallpaper then replace it with a good static image because it will need more CPU cycles to run, thus draining the battery faster. To change the live wallpaper, long press on the home screen and select the stable wallpaper.
Trick #2 : Clean Up your Home Screen
You should also clean away any unused icon and limit your widgets to the essentials. The less cluttered your home screen is, the better in terms of performance. Reducing the number of widgets, especially data-intensive once like Facebook, it will help your smartphone or tablet run more smoothly and last longer.
Trick #3 : Turn off or Reduce Animations
You can make your Android device feel snappier by reducing or turning off animations. You'll need to enable Developer options in order to do this. Go to Settings > About Phone, scroll down to Build number and tap it 7 times. You will now have access to developer options and now go back to previous menu, to see Developer options listed under System. Head in there and scroll down to find Window animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration scale. Tap each in turn and set it to .5x or off.
Scroll down and find "Do not keep activities" to block all apps which running in the background. You can also limit background processes by tapping "Limit background Process" and click on at most 4 processes.
Trick #4 : Uninstall or Disable unused Apps
If you don't want to allow apps that you never use to take up space on your device and potentially eat into system resources. Go to Settings > Apps and swipe over to the All tab. Take a good long look down the list and identify the apps you don't want or need. Tap on any app you don't want and then choose Uninstall or if the option is not there to uninstall, tap Disable.
Note : Disabled apps will be listed in a new tab, so you can always enable them again in future if you change your mind.

Cached data for apps should help them to load more quickly, but it can build up over time to take up quite a lot of space and there will potentially be cached data in there for apps that you no longer use. Note : To clear all Cached data, go to Settings > Storage and tap on Cached data and tap OK.

All these syncing has a big impact on performance, not to mention battery life. Go to Settings and find Auto-sync under Accounts to turn it off.
