Before you can upgrade to Windows 10, you’ll need to know if your device can handle the new OS. You should also be aware of your available options for the upgrade process as always, wiping everything and installing Windows 10 from scratch is your safest bet.

                           Hardware Requirement

we only mention minimum hardware requirement for both Desktop and Mobile. Microsoft doesn't disclose everything but they mention screen size, memeory, storage, graphics and firmware are mentioned.

Here are the desktop requirements :

Optional Component and Connectivity : The optional components for both desktop and mobile are also worth highlighting, phones have stricter guidelines than PCs.

Going by the specs, almost every PC should be able to install Windows 10 as the requirements are pretty low. This would also mean that low end devices will also be able to install Windows 10 without any issues.

Windows 10 is expected to arrive later this year and going by Microsoft’s past releases, it should be available in October 2015.
